yogurt advice

got any advice for this novice yogurt maker girl? i want to start making my own; for numerous health reasons -- super duper probiotic count. for monetary reasons -- super duper cheaper than buying as much as i do. for green reasons -- less gamillion plastic cups around for me to recycle -- happier environment. (& believe me, i use those yogurt cups a bazillion times over, but still...no/zero plastic cups = happy world!)

anyone out there make there own & have a particular kit they like or tips to share? let me know! :)

since the mister has been traveling across the country in the o.g. nellie bus i have been one dutiful girl in the studio. gobs of glass pieces are everywhere, collage's are strewn across tables, mod podge stands in several containers on several different floors of our live/work, snippets of paper are to be found underfoot in many many many places. i have been steadily working my way through grey's anatomy (finished season 1) and loads of my favorite cheese ball dorky travel man: rick steve's europe! i'm learning a lot while i whittle away at piles of glass needing to be trimmed. off i go again...cheers!

i'm in a show back in virginia in april; part of my old co-op gallery, WONDER. i did these two collages this past weekend. i just don't know if they are finished though - & if i'm questioning if they are finished, they probably aren't finished. i usually know spot on when i'm done with one. i'll leave them out & ruminate on them.

i also worked on loads of new necklaces - incorporating text into a lot of them. thus i was cutting for hours last night!!!

happy happy weekend to you all! (i have a 3 day one; yay for me!) i have major hard-core sprout studio time on the agenda. plus a little girl time tomorrow afternoon - pedi's + lunch with 2 fine ladies! yay! i know it's going to be gorgeous & this girl loves wearing her flip flops :)

i teach art too (in case you didn't know!) -- we are gearing up for our annual spring art exhibit; it's huge & everyone in the school community loves it. these kiddos are working on some projects inspired by frida kahlo to go up in the show. they are such a great inspiration - even though when i have kindergarten they wear me out!!!
